SHAZA HOTEL

A SYNERGY OF ART, CULTURE, AND BUSINESS

Located on a crossroads between the Museum of Islamic Art and the new National Museum in Qatar’s cultural district, the 15-storey building demanded the highest architectural standards and attention to detail.

The design signature for the hotel is its unique glazed façade; a series of seamless glass planes that wrap the building within a sleek, shimmering envelope. A frit pattern inspired by the traditional mashrabiya (a common architectural characteristic of Arab residencies), casts wonderfully intricate shadows inside the building throughout the day.

The 171 room, five-star facility includes three themed restaurants, a hammam steam room, spa and gym, rooftop pool and café, business lounge and events spaces.

Pascall+Watson provided complete detailed design package, including the interiors, and provided executive architect services.

“By bridging art, culture, and business, Shaza Hotel offers a unique blend of experiences that cater to a wide range of interests.”
