As part of the visionary Yas South Integrated Destination Resort in Abu Dhabi, the Etihad Arena provides a state-of-the-art multi-purpose entertainment complex. Designed in collaboration with HOK and WSP, the facility is the first of its kind in the region.

The innovative and highly flexible venue can efficiently adapt from an 18,000 capacity in-the-round stadium format to an intimate 500 seat theatre, supporting a variety of events and activities including sports, concerts, stage shows, conventions and community gatherings.

Recognised by the Middle East North Africa (MENA) Green Building Awards as ‘Sustainable Building Design of the Year 2018’, the 2 Pearl rated scheme deploys numerous passive design strategies such as the incorporation of shading features, utilisation of natural daylighting and the reduction of the building envelopes’ u-values to reduce energy consumption.

Developed by Miral, the Etihad Arena contributes significantly to Abu Dhabi’s cultural landscape, making it a central hub for entertainment and a key player in the UAE’s growing event tourism sector.
