Pascall+Watson collaborated with the signature architect Hadi Teherani as well as the joint venture contractors Habtoor Leighton and Murray & Roberts to provide architectural delivery and design management services for the Zayed University project. The institution has positioned itself as a national and regional leader in educational innovation and is part of the government’s initiative to offer world-class academia within the capital.

The first phase of construction included 26 buildings that catered to 6,000 students’ needs. The campus featured three primary building clusters, each one with its unique set of facilities such as a convention centre, library, sports hall, day-care centre, and numerous classrooms. These clusters were interconnected by internal promenades that served as social interaction hubs for students.
