KING ABDULAZIZ CENTRE FOR WORLD CULTURE

ENHANCING THE CULTURAL LANDSCAPE AND DRIVING INNOVATION

The King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture designed by Snohetta is a dynamic and state-of-the-art institution that inspires passion for learning, creativity, volunteerism and cross-cultural engagement.

The centre is the result of a monumental, forward-thinking Saudi Aramco initiative that exemplifies the company’s commitment to the Kingdom and its communities. Dedicated to honouring Arab heritage and bringing world cultures to the Kingdom, the centre aspires to be a powerful stimulus for the development of new ideas, perspectives and relationships.

The construction of the main works was awarded to Saudi Oger Ltd, who engaged Pascall+Watson to provide a design management and to facilitate delivery of the interior design package for the project. The scope also included evaluation and development of the design information, drawings and specifications.

“An iconic project aimed at developing local talent and promoting cultural exchange”
