LOUVRE ABU DHABI

MAKING IDEAS REALITY

Designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, this innovative structure includes connected gallery spaces surrounded by sea water and a complex 180m diameter domed roof that provides beautiful, fragmented light into the spaces below. It houses great artworks from around the world, with a universal focus on shared human stories across civilisations and cultures.

Pascall+Watson were appointed as executive architects for this project to develop the detailed design and construction information as part of a collaborative architectural and engineering design team.

Our experience in developing complex 3D models proved invaluable in ensuring robust design co-ordination and timely delivery. We were proud to be appointed to the project, chosen for our reputation for delivering quality architecture for both our own projects and those by other signature architects.

After the completion of the building in 2017, Pascall+Watson continued to work on additional scope for the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which demonstrates our commitment to supporting the museum beyond the initial construction, ensuring that it continues to thrive as a cultural landmark.

“As a symbol of the UAE's ambitions, the Louvre Abu Dhabi stands as a testament to the country’s dedication to cultural exchange and artistic excellence.”
